Account Deletion Request Process

Your end users/drivers/customers can now request to delete their account.

Per Google Data Safety Policy, all apps in the app store must allow their end users to request to delete their accounts.

What will be new:

  • Drivers/End Users will have access to a URL to delete their account
  • Drivers/End Users will have access via their app to request to delete their account

Confirmation will be sent to driver/end user:

  • Admins will be able to accept or reject customer request

Admins will see on customers profile if a customer has requested account deletion:

  • Admins can send confirmation of account deletion accepted or account deletion rejected

Once Admin has Accepted or Rejected Customer Deletion, the driver/end user will be notified via email

Rejecting Customer Deletion can be for various reasons that your organization chooses. For example:

  • Unpaid Balance
  • Dispute of Charges
  • Any kind of dispute

Note: All information about the customer/end user will be permanently deleted once deleted.

  • Admins can see a list of all customers that have requested account deletion

Go to Customers in the dashboard and on the right side you will notice the toggle that shows ONLY DELETION REQUESTED.
