This is a list of the alarms and notifications that are available for your service. When an alarm is triggered, there are three options for delivering the notification:

  • 📧 | Driver Email - an email is sent to the email address associated with the driver's user profile.
  • 📨 | Admin Email - an email is sent to the email address specified by your organization. Often times this is a shared email account to ensure maximum visibility.
    • In order to see which email address your admin notifications are being sent to please select General Information in Service View. In the Basic Information section you will see the name of your service along with an email address. You have the ability to update the email address by selecting Update Organization.
  • 💬 | SMS - a text message is sent to the phone number associated with the driver's user profile.

We have listed each alarm along with a short description of when it's triggered. Best practices are included to help you make a decision on your options. Also included is the copy text for each notification for you to review. Please take note that some alarms have different versions, one that's sent to drivers and another that's internal and sent to admins.


🔔 | Reservation Reminder

An email is sent to a driver with specific vehicle details pertaining to their reservation. This is sent 24 hours before the scheduled reservation start time.

💡 Best Practice: This can be configured to match the Vehicle Confirmed RRS, ensuring the driver has all relevant reservation details on hand.

An email is sent to an admin when an unbooked vehicle is more than 100m from its home location's geofence. This serves as a loss prevention measure.

🔔 | No Show

An email is sent to a driver when their reservation is cancelled because they did not start it. Once cancelled, the vehicle becomes available for other drivers to reserve.

  • Trigger Condition: 1 Hour after start time

💡 Best Practice: Generally this is configured to trigger a set amount of time after the reservation's start time has passed. This will minimize the amount of time that an unused vehicle is unavailable.

🔔 | Low Battery Voltage

An email is sent to an admin when a vehicle's battery drops below a certain threshold. The default threshold is 12v but is configurable.

🔔 | Low Fuel Near End

An email alerts an admin when a vehicle's fuel or battery level is below a set threshold near the reservation's end. By default, this triggers 90 minutes before reservation end and 30% fuel/battery left remaining.

A text is sent to a driver when their reservation's scheduled end time is approaching. This is configured to be sent 10 minutes before the scheduled end time.

🔔 | Distant Near End

A notification is sent when a reservation's end time is approaching, the driver is more than 20 miles away from the home location, and there is an upcoming reservation for the vehicle. An email can also be sent to an admin at this time.
