Mission Control (MC): Self-Serve Broker Connection Setup (Admin Only)

This article guides administrators through the process of self-serving telematics broker connections within Mission Control. This feature allows you to directly configure integrations with various brokers such as Invers, Geotab, Igloo, and more, without requiring support assistance.

Overview

As an administrator, you now have the ability to manage and establish connections to your data brokers directly within Mission Control. This empowers you with faster setup, greater control, and increased efficiency in managing your data integrations.

Accessing Broker Settings

  1. Log in to your Mission Control Portal as an Administrator.
  2. In the Owner View, navigate to: MC Menu > Settings > Brokers.

Managing Broker Connections

Upon entering the "Brokers" section, you will see a dashboard displaying a list of available brokers. For each broker, you will see:

  • Broker Name: The name of the integration partner (e.g., Invers, Geotab, Samsara).
  • Status: Indicates whether the broker is currently "Connected" or "Disconnected."
  • Action: Icons that allow you to connect, disconnect, or edit the broker configuration.

Important Note on Adding New Brokers: To request the addition of a broker that is not currently available in your Mission Control dashboard, please submit a support ticket. Enabling new broker types requires backend configuration by our team before self-service options become available. Once the new broker is enabled, it will appear in your dashboard as shown below:
