The Essential Guide to Report Categories: SERVICE GROUPS

Instead of managing every car individually, Mission Control organizes vehicles into Service Groups (referred to in our reporting engine as Vehicle Groups). Think of these groups as folders that sort your cars based on things like where they are located, what type of job they do, or who is allowed to use them.

1. Vehicle Group (or Service Group) Details (The Organizational Definition)

These fields capture the identity and core rules that govern every vehicle within the group.

Data Field Purpose
Vehicle Group Id (Service Group ID) The unique identifier for the specific organizational group.
Vehicle Group Name / Label (Service Group Name / Label) The primary name and a secondary, often shorter, identifier for the group (e.g., "LA Service Fleet" and "LASF").
Vehicle Group Time Zone (Service Group Time Zone) The time zone the group operates in. Critical for accurate time-based reporting (e.g., Utilization Hours).
Vehicle Group Driver Access (Service Group Driver Access) Defines the security or user-type permissions for drivers accessing vehicles in this group.
Vehicle Group Created/Modified Time (Service Group Created/Modified Time) Timestamps showing when the group was established and last updated.

2. Geographical and High-Level Context

These categories link the group to its physical location and its overarching management entity.

Category Key Fields Purpose
Location Location Address, City, Name, State, Country, Time Zone Details the primary or default physical location associated with the group. Helps filter fleet performance by geography.
Fleet Fleet Name, Fleet Label The highest-level organizational unit the group belongs to. Used to view groups under a specific brand or division.

Aggregate data provides the essential metric for understanding the total volume of groups defined in the system.

Vehicle Group (Service Group) Aggregates (The Count)

Aggregate Metric Calculation / Significance
Vehicle Groups Count (Service Groups Count) The total number of distinct vehicle groups defined in the system. Used to measure the overall complexity and structure of the fleet hierarchy.
