Understanding Reservation Surveys
The Reservation Survey feature allows organizations to collect additional, customizable information from drivers at the moment they create a reservation. By integrating specific questions into the booking flow, you can ensure that necessary data—such as project codes or trip purposes—is captured for every trip.
How It Works
When a driver initiates a booking in the mobile app or Web Reservation App (WRA), the system presents a set of custom fields before the reservation is finalized.
-
Configurable Triggers: Surveys can be set to appear during the initial reservation creation or as part of the pre-start process.
-
Flexible Input Types: Organizations can define different types of fields, such as free-text entries for notes or specific dropdown selections.
-
Mandatory Completion: Fields can be marked as required, ensuring the driver cannot complete the booking without providing the requested information.
Strategic Use Cases
-
Trip Intent: Capture the reason for vehicle use (e.g., "Client Meeting" or "Site Visit") for better fleet utilization reporting.
-
Operational Compliance: Use surveys to have drivers acknowledge specific site-access rules or operational requirements.
-
Project Documentation: Ensure drivers provide relevant project names or identification numbers associated with the vehicle use.
Administrative Visibility
All data captured through these surveys is stored alongside the reservation record in Mission Control.
-
Real-Time Access: Administrators can view survey responses immediately within the Reservation Details page.
-
Reporting & Analytics: Survey data is included in standard fleet reports, allowing for easy exporting and analysis of custom data points.
