Understanding Your Invoice and Billing Details
⚠️ This document applies only to clients that billed externally. If you are using billing edge (handled internally), this information does not apply. ⚠️
You can manage all aspects of your invoices through Mission Control, including generating, reviewing, creating, sending, processing, editing, and deleting them directly from the invoice details screen.
Generating an Invoice from a Reservation
This process outlines how an invoice is generated and linked to a reservation associated with a User Driver.
Steps:
- A reservation is created via Mission Control, the Web Reservation App (WRA) or directly through the application.
- An invoice will be automatically generated for that reservation upon creation.
Viewing an Invoice from the Invoicing Section
This process explains how to view detailed information for invoices related to your reservations.
Steps:
- Log into Mission Control with an Admin account.
- Navigate to the "Invoices" section.
- You will see a list of available invoices; click on an invoice to select it.
- This will open the invoice details page, where you can view logs, invoice items, general information, and payments.
Processing an Invoice Balance from the Invoicing Section
This process explains how to process an invoice to display all pending payments and charges.
Steps:
- Log into Mission Control with an Admin account.
- Navigate to the "Invoices" section.
- You will see a list of available invoices and a button: "Process Balance".
- Select the checkbox next to the invoice you want to process to enable the button.
- Click "Process Balance." A message will appear: "Records are being processed in the background. Status will be reflected in a few moments".
Editing an Invoice from the Invoicing Section
You can edit invoices from the invoice details view or directly within the preview.
Steps:
- Log into Mission Control with an Admin or account.
- Navigate to the "Invoices" section.
- You will see a list of available invoices; click on an invoice item to select it.
- Within the invoice details, you will find four buttons: "Invoice Preview," "Email to Customer," "Email to Requester," and "Download".
- From Invoice Preview: Clicking "Invoice Preview" opens a new page with invoice details. Here, you can add credits or access an action list to edit, delete, or add new invoice items.
- From Invoice Details: In the "Invoice items" widget of the details view, click the "Add new item" option Selecting these allows you to modify or remove existing SKUs.
