Vehicle Connection Troubleshooting
If you're experiencing issues connecting your mobile device to the vehicle via Bluetooth, follow these steps to try to resolve the problem:
1. Check Distance and Position:
- Ensure that your mobile device is within the vehicle's range (typically up to 30 ft/10 meters).
- Avoid physical obstacles between your device and the vehicle, as they can block the Bluetooth signal.
2. Verify the Location is enabled:
- Certain Android devices require location services to be enabled in order to establish a connection with the vehicle. Please ensure that location services are active on your device when attempting to connect.
3. Restart Devices:
- Turn off your mobile device.
- Turn your phone back on and try connecting again.
4. Check Mobile Device Settings:
- Ensure that Bluetooth function is enabled on your mobile device.
5. Avoid Interference:
- Move away other electronic devices that may interfere with the Bluetooth signal.
- If you're in an area with heavy Bluetooth activity (such as a fair or densely populated area), try moving to a less congested location.
6. Update Software:
- Ensure that both the phone application and the vehicle's firmware are updated to the latest available version.
7. Test with Another Device:
- If possible, try connecting another mobile device to the vehicle to determine if the issue is related to your specific device.
Note: Remember that connectivity is guaranteed during the duration of the reservation. To ensure connectivity and avoid losing access to the vehicle if the drop off date has already passed, the reservation should be extended through the application.
