Seeing a "No Cars Available" message can be confusing, but it rarely means there are no vehicles in the fleet. It simply means that all vehicles available to you are currently booked or unavailable for the specific time and location you've selected.

How Vehicle Access Works

Your ability to see and reserve vehicles is based on a system of groups set up by your organization to ensure fair and efficient use of the fleet.

  • Your Role Sets Your Access: Your organization assigns you to a User Group (e.g., "Drivers," "Maintenance," etc.). This role determines which general types of vehicles you are able to see and reserve.

  • You Reserve a Type of Vehicle, Not a Specific One: When you make a reservation, you are selecting from a pool of vehicles, called a Service Group (e.g., "Sedans," "EVs," or "Trucks"), not a specific car by its license plate or color. This ensures all vehicles in the fleet are used evenly.

  • Fair and Even Distribution: To make sure every vehicle gets used, the system automatically assigns you the car from your chosen Service Group that has been available the longest.

What to Do When No Cars Are Available

If you see the "No Cars Available" message, here are a few things you can try:

  1. Adjust Your Time: Try making your reservation for a slightly earlier or later time. Even a 30-minute change can make a difference.

  2. Select a Different Vehicle Type: If you have access to more than one Service Group (e.g., you can choose "Sedan" or "SUV"), try selecting the other type to see if a vehicle is available there.

  3. Contact Your Administrator: If you consistently have trouble finding a vehicle, your organization's fleet administrator is the best person to contact. They manage the User Groups and vehicle assignments and can review the setup for you.
